Spirited range of DIY Tenders
The Ripple Tenders are now a popular choice as a tender or for day use, as shown in the photos. Many boat owners are choosing the Ripple Tenders as a good 'croc proof ' tender for cruising the Northern parts of Australia.
Aptly named because they will only make a ripple as they pass through the water. These are all panel construction and are an ideal introductory project for amateur builders. The range consists of a 2m, 2.3m, 2.8m, 3.2m, 3.6m and 4.2m models. Other versions are available on request.

The 2m design is estimated to weigh in at 25kg and is very compact while still able to carry 4 to 6 passengers. They are all catamaran designs so have excellent stability.
They all have a planing hull shape for high speed performance with adequate horse power. However they will all row well due to the light weight displacement.

The tunnel creates a full length seat which will be used when rowing. All models have a foredeck and full length side decks for extra protection. The foredeck creates a dry storage area below with a door for access.
All have an MDF interlocking build frame included in the kit for faster assembly. Buoyancy comes from the sealed sections below the built-in seats.

| If you are interested in building yourself a cruising size boat then one of these tender projects may suit to get you started. What a great way to test your skills before committing to a bigger project. |

Any of these designs will also make a great little family day boat, the light weight aspect makes them ideal for throwing on the roof-racks and general usability.
